Upper Tampa Bay Trail

Our directions to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail were not perfect but everyone got there that was coming (I hope). Most of us did the whole 17 miles. We documented this by getting our picture taken in front of the large red diamond reflector signs at the end. Fortunately about a fourth of the trail is nice and shady. Unfortunately the shady part was still fairly damp and had a few puddles of water. A couple of my bearings are now complaining (making noise). The trail is nice and wide and smooth. There were several bridges and only one large overpass (over Gun Hwy). I would rate the Upper Tampa Bay Trail a 9. We will probably try and work another one in this year. We Brunched at Nicki's Omelets & Grill. They had decent service and a great Omelets selection. Unfortunately they did not have Eggs Benedict. Rob gave them an 8.
