Straub Park in Downtown St. Pete, Pool Party by Glennis

It must have rained everywhere this AM but Straub Park and Shore Acres. Some people showed up without their gear. The weather looked a little iffy but we had a big group and we bladed. Muntz, Amy, Jessica (Denise's daughter) and Bob the helicopter pilot joined us for the first time. Welcome new bladers. We headed out to Shore Acres and naturally stopped by to see Kim, Joel and the new baby. The blade was great but very humid and all were glad to get back and head to Harvey's.

Travis & Caroline, Charles who got lost on the blade, Shelby (Lisa's daughter), Kim, Joel and baby, Alec joined us for Brunch. Welcome to our Brunch guys and gals. Rob rated the Brunch an 8. Glennis rated hers an 8. I had the same thing as Glennis and thought mine was a 9.

From Harvey's we headed to Glennis's house for her Pool Party. Was impressed with Glennis's trophies for canoeing and made her get her picture taken with them. Glennis's big pool had a diving board and slide which several of the bladers took advantage of. Caught a couple of people on the slide but the divers were too quick for me. The party was in full swing as I left. Thanks Glennis.
