Safety Harbor Marina

The humidity was high and there was no breeze. It seemed like it was going to be a hot blade and it was. We decided to do the East-West trail. Herb had checked out the Mc Mullen-Booth overpass and found an easy way around it. Thanks Herb. We had Kitty L. bike with us for the first time. Welcome Kitty. Suzanne G. bladed with us for the first time in a long time. Welcome back Suzanne. We had 5 bikers with us: Herb, Kitty, Tony, Gary and Danny. The East-West Trail had one other bad spot besides the bridge but other than that it was a great blade. Safety Harbor Marina to the Long Center and back was 13.6 miles. The women out numbered the men, 9 to 8. Some of us had our traditional dip in the Marina Fountain after the blade.

We brunched at Athens Restaurant as planned. It is not a big restaurant and we sort of over powered the place and our waitress. She had a slow start but a fast finish. Rob had the House Omelets and rated it a 9.5.
