Ft. Desoto, Bay Pier

It was a beautiful day at Ft. Desoto. A slight SE breeze, cloudy and about 75 degrees. Most everyone did the 12 miles of the Ft. Desoto trail. We had a few bladers we haven't seen in a while, some in a long while. Welcome back Glennis, Joe, Kyle, Tony and Sam. Welcome back Birgit and Geanette. Kyle renewed her Sponsorship. Thanks Kyle. Got a picture of a small group with the Skyway in the background. One of my very best.

We brunched at Shipside Cafe. We had a big group but they put us all at a big long table. The waitress's hustled and gave us good service. Rob and Janice rated their brunch around a 10. People that got the Farmers Omelette rated theirs an 8. Looking at their old menu trying to find what Rob had, I see Shipside had raised their prices about $2 a breakfast. Seems everything goes up eventually.
