Straub Park Downtown St. Pete

It was a little cool at 9 AM but warmed up nicely to tee shirt blading. We did a jaunt to the Pier to get some inside Pier Xmas pictures but the Pier was locked (sort of). Next we did a reindeer picture. This turned out pretty good. We bladed the Thursday 7 PM blade route in search of the Xmas House but couldn't find it. Oh well. Check out Ken's broken wrist cast he is holding up in the reindeer picture.  Both bones were broken but his wrist guard kept the breaks from being compound fractures.

We brunched at Harvey's as planned and it was good we called early as Harvey's was very busy. We conducted a little planning at Harvey's for Xmas Day and New Years Day. It was decided to have these skates but have them close and near a brunch place that would be open (we called them). Check our web site to see the schedule changes. Considering how busy Harvey's was, the service was very good. However the food fell short of Harvey's usual excellence by being cool to cold. Food ratings ranged from 7 to 9. About an overall food rating of 7.5.
