Wall Springs Park

The skies looked a little threatening and we got an occasional sprinkling as we pondered what to do as we gathered at Wall Springs. All mumbled something about partying too much and we needed to skate, so we did. We did a tour (on the concrete sidewalk) of Wall Springs with Rob as our guide and then headed north on the trail and got to the Trail End on the spur north of Tarpon Springs. We got within about 1.5 miles of Wall Springs on the way back and it started some pretty good sprinkles. “Please Lord don’t make me have to clean my bearings”, we again mumbled to our selves. The sprinkles magically stopped and we had a dry trail for about the last ¾ mile. We had two new bladers join us today, Sandy P and Nando C. Welcome Sandy and Nando.

We decided not to Brunch at the Lucky Dill as planned and Brunched at Emily’s. Every time I mentioned Lucky Dill, a loud voice hollered out, “Emily’s.” Okay, Jeff, we’ll Brunch at Emily’s. Just as Jeff claimed, Emily’s was 1 mile south of Wall Springs. Emily’s turned out about half the size as it was before and was pretty busy. We got in within 10-15 minutes but had to sit at 3 different tables. Charles joined us about the time we sat down. The service was good and they had a good variety of choices. Rob rated his Brunch a 9.
