Taylor Park  Brunch at Rob and Amy's,  Happy Birthday Rob !

Another day in Paradise. Twenty eight (28) people came to the blade. A big group. It started off a little cool but warmed up quickly. Half way through the blade almost everyone was just wearing tee shirts. We did the neighborhood skate. Doing the neighborhoods we would string out for several blocks. We had to stop periodically to allow everyone to catch up as almost everyone had no idea where they were. I’ve attached the group picture from Taylor Park as it has been doctored to show everyone that came to the skate. We had 3 first time bladers with us: Tim, Vickie and Trish. Welcome Tim, Vickie and Trish. During the last week, 2 people became Sponsors for the first time and 3 people renewed their Sponsorship. Thanks Gerald, Shari, Chuck H., Debbie H and Glennis.

The main event of the day was Rob’s 50th Birthday Brunch. Linda M., Deb D. and Chuck H. joined us for the Brunch. Rob’s wife, Amie, had prepared quit a spread of food. All of which was delicious. We lounged around their house the back porch and the pool which was on a nice lake. Amie had purchase a very unique cake with a picture of Rob roller blading on it. We all (hopefully) signed a card for Rob wishing him a Happy Birthday and other birthday comments. Naturally we sang Happy Birthday to him and Amie’s father offered up an appropriate toast. A wonderful day we all will remember.
