Straub Park Downtown St. Pete

Another beautiful day in Paradise. We headed out to the Pier as usual to catch the stragglers on the way back. Took a picture in front of the Bounty. Not sure why Brian B. and Deb B. weren’t in the picture. Kim F. had called Jeff B and said she would meet us on Snell Island so we headed that way. Stopped on the Snell Island bridge and took our standard bridge picture. Kim and son hooked up with us shortly afterwards with a pretty fancy pushcart. Fran C. and Pete F. joined us for the first time. Welcome Fran and Pete. Shari R. and Nicole joined us again. Welcome back Shari and Nicole. We proceeded to have a nice blade around Snell Island.

Decided not to attempt Harvey’s again for Brunch as Harvey’s rating had not been very good lately. We went to the ???? Restaurant on Third St. It was closed. Pete suggested Gold’s Coffee Shop close by on First Ave. Gold’s turned out to be a very nice Mom & Pop restaurant that was eager to accommodate us and had quite reasonable prices. A Western Omelet with coffee for $5.76 is hard to beat these days. Ratings varied from 9 to 10. Gold’s Coffee Shop looks like a new Straub Park Brunch stop.
