Lake Seminole Park
HAPPY MOTHER’S
DAY!!!
We had not skated Lake Seminole Park in a long time but only a few people got
lost on the way to the park. There had been rumors
the back half of the park trail was closed off. Unfortunately the
rumors were true. We did the 1 mile open part of the trail a couple of times and
then headed off on the roads around the park. Next we attempted to skate in the
condos on the South side of Park Blvd. No luck, they had locked entrance gates
but we did take our picture at the entrance. Roy indicated we could skate up
through Home Depot and get on the Pinellas Trail at Seminole Blvd. We did this
and skated down the trail to Park Street and back. The whole skate took 1 ½
hours so we did get a pretty good skate in.
We brunched at Mamas Kitchen as we had planned. Janice joined us for Brunch
which made 13. Mamas got us seated at 10:30 AM as scheduled and had water
glasses filled at each place. We had a nice waitress that hustled around and
took great care of us. We were all eating Brunch by 11 AM. Rob rated his Brunch
a 9. Heard other good comments except from Brian who’s eggs were a little under
done on the inside.
