Ft. Desoto, Bay Pier, Congratulations Toby and Karen!

Another beautiful day in Paradise. However today was a little hot and humid. Sort of like roller blading in a hot-humid frying pan. We had three groups; One that quit after doing the north trail, one that did the north trail and to the East End and the hardy group that did the Normal Full Blade. Kim F and Deb B missed the group picture but caught up with us.

All the bladers made it to Toby and Karen Bigham’s post wedding picnic celebration. Congratulations to Toby and Karen! Quite a few other bladers made it out to the picnic also. We had a little breeze in Shelter #14 and it wasn’t too bad. Toby and Karen put us to work blowing up balloons, covering tables and setting out their decorations. We had a great time socializing and eating the delicious appetizers. Deb B brought her fantastic deviled eggs as usual. Somewhere around noon Toby grilled the hamburgers, chicken and sausage. Around 1 PM the band started arriving and we managed a group picture before the party got to lively. Somehow Karen was hiding and missed the group picture.
