Upper Tampa Bay Trail

Another beautiful day in Paradise. It was a little humid but it was better than usual. The Trail was a little damp in the shade in places but the shade felt good. We had 3 groups today: the fast main group, the middle group and the latecomers. We had 3 new sponsors join today: Rick S, Terry B and Tim O. Welcome New Sponsors. Six existing sponsors renewed today: Willi E, Herb E, Janice H, Jeanine S. Karin K and Deb. D. Thanks for your continued support. We had lots of visitors today: Heather & Keith, Jeanine’s fiancée, Howard and Deb. B’s friend Joe. Welcome visiting skaters. We had several people come that hadn’t been with us for a while: Theresa & Chris, Deb D, Willi and Tim O. Welcome back skaters. We had 3 bicyclers, Herb, Rob & Bruce. Twenty six (26) people made the picture and six did not. Thirty two (32) people are the most we have had for quite a while.

We Brunched at the Garden Grille as planned. We had to sit at 5 different tables. The Garden Grille did a fair job for our large group. Unfortunately the last table to be served got their Brunch after everyone else was finished. Rob rated his brunch a 9.5. Several others rated there’s a 10. However considering the late service for the last table, a 9.5 seems about right.

Charles’s pool party was refreshing as usual. His alligator got its normal attention but no one rode it for more than a few minutes. We had fun playing a little pool basketball. No one appeared ready to turn professional. Thanks for the good time Charles.
