Another Beautiful day in Paradise. The wind was calm and the temperature in the low 80’s. We took our group picture at the Straub Park Xmas decorations. Lorraine was late and missed the picture. Jeff B convinced us after we did the Pier we needed to head South and see the Xmas House. Laurie from the Thursday night skate group joined us. Thursday night Bob joined us. Kim’s Joel surprised us by coming. Jeff W. surprised us even more by skating up to us at Straub Park. Lorraine from NY joined us. Welcome new and absentee Sunday Bladers.

Karin convinced us to try Johnny’s Restaurant for Brunch. Even though Johnny’s doesn’t take reservations Karin sweet-talked them into saving us some room. I was convinced Johnny’s parking lot would not hold all of us but magically everyone seemed to find parking places. Johnny’s could have served us outside but a cycling group beat us to the outside tables. We sat at 3 tables inside; a table of 8, 6 and 4. Our service was a little slow. It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get in and out. Comments on Johnny’s rating ranged from 8 to 9 at the two large tables and a 9 at the 4 people table. This is understandable as the 4 people table got their orders taken last and got served first. My overall rating is 8.5. We would try Johnny’s again.
