Sunday Blade, 29 July, Wall Springs Park
10th Year Sunday Bladers Celebration

Another Beautiful day in Paradise. Well.....it was a little humid. After doing Wall Springs Park and taking the group picture, we headed North on the Trail. All turned around at the Alt 19 overpass as it was humid. Some did the spur North and some headed back. Those doing the full skate did 11 miles as reported by Roy. Absentee faces included Suzanne, Linda, Brian C., and Herb. Welcome back skaters. It is good to report, Sandy's wounds are healing nicely and please note she is wearing a helmet now. Darlene joined us but forgot her blades and waited in the park for us.

We Brunched at the Chatterbox as planned. We all didn't get to sit at the same table but all were near by. The food was good and inexpensive. We got in and out in less than an hour. Rob rated his Brunch an 8.5 and our table rated there's a 9. We'll give them an 8.8

Mike Merriman planned a secret (well sort of) 10th Year Sunday Bladers Celebration for the Brunch. He presented Darlene and Bruce with two $50 Bonefish Grill gift cards and $159 towards the cost of Tee Shirt Silk Screens. Kim F. already donated $15 to this cause so we now have $174 for Tee Shirt Silk Screens. Mike also presented Darlene with a picture of a bouquet of flowers which he delivered this afternoon. Thanks Mike and the Sunday Bladers for your surprise Celebration. Will post a Sunday Blader History report with next Wednesday's reminder.
