The Long Center

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. Upon arriving at the Long Center, one viewed a sea of cars. Every space every where seemed to be filled. However Rob H. had alerted me of a couple spaces in the far back. We directed other skaters to our secret place. Everyone but three cars got parked at the Long Center. Two parked in a nearby lot and the third, Karen and Gerald, somewhere. They had redone parts of the Trail which was very nice. When the skaters got to the North end, our old parking place, they found it roped off for a Seafood Festival. A very busy day in Safety Harbor. Lee Goodson was in town and joined us. Welcome Lee. Don and Beverly joined us again. Brian B and his two sons joined us. Welcome skaters/bikers. Dee reported today's skate was 10.6 miles.

We Brunched at the Sunset Grill as planned. Naturally when we got there, the place was mobbed with many people standing outside. However the restaurant had gone out of their way and had us a table for 15 set aside and we all got seated immediately. Wheeeeew!!! As expected getting our order and food took quite awhile but the waitresses kept our coffee cups filled at all times. The food was good and reasonable. Rob gave it a rating of 9 and all agreed. It did take an hour and 20 minutes to get in and out.
