Another
Beautiful Day in Paradise. Unfortunately the sun was blotted
out with fog. Just as we started to skate,
the fog became droplets of
water called
rain. The rain only lasted a few minutes but it sort of put
a damper on our skating desires. We decided to risk doing
the Pier and see how the weather would do.
We shared the Pier with
the Bay to Bay runners
who were coming to the end of their
run. After the Pier we decided to just go to Coffee Pot
Bayou and again check the weather. We skated by the Pool &
dog walking area, picked up Dennis and clicked a picture of
Dennis, Ellen and their 3 dogs. It was hit and miss with the
rain but we got 9
miles in and no
one slipped and fell on the damp streets. Believe everyone's
bearings are okay also.
Dave Z joined us from Pittsburgh and Bari R.
from Tampa Bay joined us. Welcome Dave & Bari.
We Brunched at Munchs as planned. Jeff & Darlene are doing a
3 week European vacation so Jeff missed his favorite Brunch
location but we don't feel too sorry for him. Vivian is off
skiing and a lot of us wish we were skiing with her. Brunch
at Munchs was great as usual. I missed Robs rating so I gave
Munchs a 9.
Dennis and Ellen
just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
They also bought this giant RV to take their dogs traveling
with them. Congratulations Dennis and Ellen.
