Safety Harbor Marina

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. What a great day for blading. It was about 60 degrees this AM and it made you want to get moving. We decided to go South and do the East-West Trail. On the way out we noticed a spur going South along Old Coachman Rd. On the way back we decided to see where it went. It went about 3/4 of a mile South of Gulf to Bay and added 3 miles to our skate. This spur was wonderfully smooth and a pleasure to skate on. Actually they have also done a lot of work on the East-West Trail and have taken out all of the bad sections. All total we did about 16 miles. Carol and Martin joined us for the first time but came late and missed the group photo. Brenda joined us again. Suzanne came. Welcome new and missing bladers. Rob H, Roy H and Brian B renewed their Sponsorship. Thanks guys for the continued support. Those that missed this blade, missed a great blade.

We Brunched at Athens Restaurant as planned. We got there in two groups but all sat at the same table. Service was good and pretty fast. Rob rated his Brunch a 9.5 and others did also. My Brunch was good but not quite a 9.5. We'll give them a 9.4.

Unfortunately my 8 year old camera is wearing out after some 50,000 pictures. Dee brought Sam's new Nikon Coolpix S210 camera and we took pictures of the same settings. The Group and Bridge pictures are from the Nikon and the End of the Trail and Brunch are from my Olympus. Dee's pictures used were reduced in size from 1.5 MB to about 0.4 MB The group picture below has been reduced to 0.093 MB in size. The Nikon pictures look good to me. Just felt you needed to know all this.
