Lake Seminole Park

Another Beautiful but Rainy Day in Paradise. It looked a little ugly to the West but seemed fine at Lake Seminole. However as we started off around the park to take our picture, that cool breeze came and was followed by those wet drops. We were going to take our picture out on the dock but it was raining too hard. We stayed on the trail under the protection of the trees for our group picture. Jeff and Glennis didn't even get to the group picture and turned around and headed back to the cars. Some time Deb B. came and also missed the group picture. Most of us did one or two mile laps in the light rain. After the one lap the rain stopped and some of us headed to the sidewalks in front of the park. The sidewalks were pretty dry and would have been fine except the rain came again and we had to retreat. Absentee skaters Brenda & Terry, Joe & Mary Beth and Berna came. Welcome. Oh yes, Daisy came again. We had two bicyclists: Roy & Berna.

We Brunched as planned at Doe Does. We got right in and sat in the back room but had to be out by 10:15 AM which still gave us plenty of time. Coffee was plentiful. We got in and out in about 45 minutes. Forgot to get Rob's rating but Doe Does is always at least a 9 and seemed so again today.
