Ft Desoto, East Beach

Another beautiful day in Paradise. We had a few show up at the Bay Pier but they finally found us at East Beach. We did East Beach and then headed North and did the new trail section and back. Roy indicated we did 12 miles. This was the first time I can remember that we had no breeze/wind at Ft. Desoto. The no-see-ums were chewing on us. Mary-Beth and Joe brought a guest but didn't get his name. Absentee bladers Linda, Brian, Iara, Vivian, Josh and Dave came. Welcome all. We Brunched at Skyway Jacks. I was surprised at how easy it was to get there from Ft. Desoto. They got us in and seated quickly at 3 tables. The food is always good at Skyway Jacks and Rob rated his Brunch a 9.5. My Brunch was at least as good.

Unfortunately last week we had a couple people in the hospital. Ellen W. had some bad migraine headaches and Dorey Anne crashed on her bicycle and broke her collar bone. Both are now home and recovering. Get well soon ladies.
