Upper Tampa Bay Trail

Another Beautiful day in Paradise but ..... it was Unbelievably COLD. Almost everyone had on something extra to stay warm. The wind was blowing pretty hard out of the NE just to give us a little more challenge and toughen us up for the Nov 21st 2009 Pinellas Trail Skate. Many people did the whole Upper Tampa Bay Trail. Roy and Vivian reported the distance as 14.5 miles. Debbie F & Roger D on vacation joined us again this year. Herman and Sarah P joined us but were too late for the group picture. Welcome all. We has two bicyclists. Pete K and Vivian A renewed their Sponsorship. Thanks Pete and Vivian.

We Brunched at the Garden Grille as planned. They had two tables set up with water waiting for us. We got in and out within an hour. The food was great as usual. Rob and Steve each rated their Brunch a 9.5.

The 2009 Pinellas Trail skate is gathering momentum with 60 people signed up so far. Gene Cook from Miami has chartered a 50 passenger bus to take people from the SunTrust Bank (31st St & Central Ave) parking lot meeting/ending point to the Tarpon Springs starting point. At $10 a person it is a great deal.
