Downtown St. Petersburg Formal Skate

This year's Skate was The 14th Annual Formal Skate. Originally it started as a Boxer Shorts skate on Monday night. So now instead of dressing down, we dress up. This year's Formal Skate was held on a Thursday night. Traditionally it is held as close to New Year's Eve as convenient. With everyone (well almost everyone) all dressed up for the skate it is fairly short. This year we skated from Bayboro, by Baywalk and out to Captain Al's on the Pier for a very joyous and social bite to eat. When we skated by Baywalk, people clapped as we went by. All had a wonderful time at Captain Al's, the service was friendly and the food was great.
