The Miami Great E-Skate 05

The Great E-Skate this was every bit as good as in 2004 with one exception.   Friday was an ugly cool day and the South Beach topless beach was pretty much vacant.  Oh well.  The Friday, Saturday and Sunday skates we attended were all professionally done and again the South Beach people should be congratulated on their excellent work.

We had a good group of 9 Sunday Bladers and got together and socialized often.   We ate at the Next restaurant and at the Sushi Siam.  Both were very good.  We got a lot of good comments on our Sunday Bladers tee shirts.  People drove us crazy asking us where we came from so we plan to add “Tampa Bay” to our tee shirts.  Karin took us on a tour of Ocean Dr. Saturday night and told us all about the places she had worked and about some of the interesting historic facts of Ocean Dr.  We ended up at a place called Alex Fox’s.  Alex Fox was a fantastic guitar player and very enjoyable to listen to.
