John Chestnut Park

The day started with a brisk 48 degrees and a stout wind from the North East. It was another beautiful day in Paradise. We skated the normal route though the park then the neighborhoods to the trail on McMullen Booth Rd. Skated to the end of the trail and back to the park for a total of 13.5 miles. We welcomed back Mike M, Mike E, Nancy and Herb E to the group.

Brunch was at Eve’s Family Restaurant. They had the tables ready for us even though we missed our reservation time by about 15 minutes. We were in and out within an hour. Rob and many others rated their meal a 9.5. Did I mention it was cold and windy!
