Clearwater Beach
Meet in the Publix parking lot. Go to the Clearwater Memorial Causeway and head
towards the beach. At the stop light, turn onto Island Way. Proceed a couple of
blocks North on Island Way to the Publix Parking Lot (200 Island Way).

Upper Tampa Bay Trail
We will meet at the trail head on Waters Ave just West of Sheldon Road. The
entrance to the trail head parking area is at 9201 W Waters Ave. Don't
forget to bring $2 for the parking fee. Two ways
to go to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail:
>>49th St. Way:
Take 49th St to McMullen Booth Road north to 580. Turn east. This turns into
Tampa Road which turns into Hillsborough Blvd. Take this to Country Way (there
is a Walgreens on the corner) turn north into the Country Way subdivision. Take
this north to the first stop sign, which is Waters, turn right or east. Go about
1 mile and the entrance to the trail is on the left (north) just across from the
YMCA.
>>I-275 way:
I-275 towards airport, stay about in the middle lane heading for "Air Cargo"
area, When you see the "Memorial Hwy" sign, head that way. Turn left at the
Traffic Light onto Memorial Hwy. Memorial Hwy becomes Sheldon Rd as it crosses
Hillsborough Ave. Stay on Sheldon and at Waters make a left. On Waters go past
the traffic light, over the bridge and take the first right into the parking
area for the Trail.

Eagle Lake Park
Meet in the parking lot Near Shelter #1 off
1800 Keene Rd Largo, FL. From the South Keen Rd is Starkey Rd. In Eagle Lake
Park we will do about a 3-mile circle on a 10-foot wide smooth asphalt path. We
will do the circle 3 to 4 times for 9 to 12 miles. Since we go past our starting
point on each time around, it will be easy for people to do more or less times

Skyway Access Trail, Via Publix
Meet in the Publix parking lot at 5295 34th St. S - St. Petersburg, Fl 33711. The Skyway Trail runs from
the Pinellas Trail at approximately 41st St. to the Skyway Bridge. The Trail is
asphalt from the Pinellas Trail to 22nd Ave S. From 22nd Ave S it is 12 ft. wide
concrete to 54th Ave S. Map The basic skate/bicycle will go from 54th Ave S
North to the Pinellas Trail and back. At the North end we could also go to 34th
St or Fergs. At the South end we could also go to Eckerd Collage or on to the
Beach.

Walsingham Park, Shelter #4
Meet at Shelter #4 parking. Walsingham Park is accessible from both Walsingham
Road and 102nd Ave N. The Walsingham Road entrance is located at 12211
Walsingham Road and the 102nd Ave N entrance is located at 12615 102nd Ave N.
Walsingham Road runs East and West and intersects Alt 19 and Seminole Blvd.
102nd Ave N is an extension of Bryan Dairy Road and intersects all roads running
North and South as far East as 66th Street.

Safe access to the trail is via the sidewalks along 102nd Ave. Walsingham Park
provides both roads and trails to blade. A round trip through the Park is about
3 miles. Across the street from the entrance to Walsingham Park on Walsingham
Road is the entrance to a Museum of Art, a Cultural Park and a Botanical Garden.
All are open all day on Sunday.

Long Center
Meet in the parking spaces on the north side of the building by the indoor
swimming pool. The Long Center is located at 1501 N Belcher Rd between Drew St
and Sunset Point Rd in Clearwater. Drew St is just North of Gulf to Bay Blvd,
Hwy 60. Sunset Point Rd is the next major road North of Drew St. Belcher is the
first major road West of Hwy 19. Parking at the Long Center is much better than
at Safety Harbor Marina.

Safety Harbor
Meet in the parking lot across the street from the Athens Restaurant located at
226 Main St - Safety Harbor, Fl. We will take the new trail along Bayshore Blvd
to the new Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail. If it is a very hot day, we can
take the shady trail though the park to the Long Center.

North Shore Dr NE Downtown St. Pete
Meet in the parking lot on the NE corner of 12th Ave NE and North Shore Dr NE in
downtown St. Pete. Coming from the North, take Exit 23B off I-275 to get onto
I-375. Coming from the South, take Exit 23A off I-275 to get onto I-375. I-375
turns into 4th Ave N. Keep going on 4th Ave N until you run into Beach Drive. Go
left (North) on Beach Drive to 12th Ave NE. Turn right (East) onto 12th Ave NE
and go across North Shore Dr NE into the parking lot. Parking is free and
restrooms are available.

Curlew Rd & Alt 19 on the Trail
Meet in the Publix parking lot. Curlew Rd is Hwy 586. Curlew is the first major
road North of Countryside Mall on Hwy 19. Go West on Curlew from Hwy 19 until
you get to Alternate 19. The Publix parking lot is located on the NE corner of
the intersection of Curlew and Alt 19. The Trail crosses Curlew and runs
parallel to Alt 19. Be careful not to confuse Highway 19 with Alt 19.

We meet in the parking lot. From Park Blvd. turn South on 113th St. Go West at
the water tower on 74th Ave. to the entrance of the City of Seminole Park. Drive
to the back by the Trail to park. Park entrance: 7464 Ridge Rd - Seminole,

Pass-a-Grille
Meet on 8th Ave. The Seahorse Restaurant is on 8th Ave. and Gulf Blvd/Pass A
Grille Way, the main road. Parking on 8th Ave is free. If you don't park on 8th
Ave, be prepared to pay $3.25 per hour to a parking meter.

Pinellas Bayway Trail
Meet in the Publix parking lot located at 5295 34th St South St.
Petersburg, FL. We will head West on the old and newly extended Pinellas Bayway
Trail. MAP (along
54th Ave S) for about 3.5 miles to the big high bridge going over to Gulf Blvd.
At the base of the big high bridge we will divert from the Trail and do ISLA DEL
SOL via Bahia del Mar Blvd S, then go back to the Pinellas Bayway Trail and do
Escondida Blvd S, then Bayway Isles. After Bayway Isles we’ll continue back and
do Marina Bay and finally Eckerd Collage and back to the Publix parking lot.

Meet in the North parking lot off 8th Ave SW in Largo. Access 8th Ave SW by
using 113th St or Indian Rocks Rd. 8th Ave. SW is North of Ulmerton Rd and just
South of West Bay Dr. We will Skate the Pinellas Trail or the neighborhoods.
Park entrance: 1100 8th Ave SW - Largo, FL 33770.

Freedom Lake
Take 49th St N. to
the traffic light at the corner of Quaker Steak & Lube and Lake Blvd (~103rd Ave
N). Turn East onto Lake Blvd and immediately turn right onto 102nd Ave N. Take
102nd Ave N to 46th St and turn right onto 46th St. Follow 46th St. around to
the right into Freedom Lake Park. Park in the first parking lot just across the
road from Pavilion #1 and the Restrooms.

Ft. Desoto via Tierra Verde Ball Field
Meet in the Tierra Verde Ball field parking lot. Take Interstate 275 to south
St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Bayway exit. Pass through toll booth ($0.75) and
continue on over two bridges and take the Tierra Verde road heading south which
is Pinellas Bayway S (Hwy 679). Keep going through Tierra Verde to 1420 Pinellas
Bayway S. This is the parking lot for the Ball Field. The Ball Field sign says,
"Tierra Verde Community Association Complex". The Ball Field parking lot is open
from sunrise to sunset. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are provided.

skate/bicycle route but start from the north end and avoid the new $5 parking
fee for Ft. Desoto.
