Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. The weather was very nice and sunny but it had rained in the night and it was rather wet in the shade. The East West Trail was also covered in debris which made skating rather precarious. We did the South extension for the skaters as it was basically clear of debris, dry and sunny. When we got to the lake continuing on skating became unreasonable as big patches of the trail were covered in water. All the skaters turned around. Most of the bicyclers continued on to Safety Harbor. Naturally we had to take a picture at the fountain. The Bike & Barge bicyclers that had joined us decided to eat Brunch in Safety Harbor. The regular Sunday bicyclers returned to join the rest of the skaters for Brunch. We had 11 bicyclists which out numbered the skaters for a change. Dee said the skaters did 10 miles and the bicyclers did 16 miles. Roy had 16.5 miles and I had 15.5 miles.
We Brunched at the Sunset Grille as planned. The skaters arrived there earlier than the bicyclers and had reserved us all a big table. Rick and Ginnie joined us for Brunch. If they had bicycled with us we would have had 13 bicyclists. Service and the food were pretty good. Forgot to ask Rob for a rating but I would give them about a 9.2. However Michael E had a nice looking steak and some eggs. He might have given them a higher rating.
