Maximo Park - Skyway Trail

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. There were a few scattered clouds in the sky but the rest was blue skies & sunshine. We had a little breeze out of the SW. Absentees Joseph W, Ken L and Paula C came. It was especially good to see Ken L out on a Sunday again. Welcome all. We had several choices where to go today. The Skyway Trail won out. We had to make a little detour from 58th Ave to 54th Ave as the Skyway Trail down 58th Ave was closed off but the rest of the Skyway Trail was great except in a few places where the rain had made a mess on the trail. Several people had not done the Skyway Trail before and all gave it a "Thumbs UP". We had 4 bladers and 8 bicyclers and all did the 12 mile round trip. Gustavo was taking pictures as usual and likely several will be used for the web site presentation. Thanks Gustavo. Oops I almost forgot, we spotted a bald eagle's nest along the trail and the eagle was perched on the nest.

We Brunched at Munch's today. We got right in and seated at two tables. The socializing and coffee flowed freely. The food was very good as usual and Rob rated his Brunch a 9.5.
