Pete and Olivia's Wedding

 
On February 7. 2015 Olivia and I were married at the Grand Plaza Hotel on St Pete Beach. It was a most joyous occasion on a clear cool sunny day. The event proceeded without any difficulties except a minor ruckus just before the ceremony, perpetrated by some guests which shall remain nameless.... for now. We know where they live.
  
Pastor Sam did a wonderful job of conducting the beach ceremony by injecting humor and keeping it's length to tolerable levels. He put any nervousness we had to rest and provided a meaningful marriage ceremony that we will cherish forever. After the beach ceremony the wedding party stayed on the beach to take pictures while the rest of the guests retired to the Presidential Ball Room for drinks and merriment. I can not personally account for what happened during this interim period while we remained on the beach, but I know that my guests conducted themselves honorably because of the reports that there was limited breakage of bottles, glasses, and chairs in the facility.
  
The reception went off splendidly. The photographer Angela Hunt did a great job while keeping a low profile. All of her photos can be seen at Angelahuntphotography.com. The DJ did a great job of both spinning the music and helping to conduct the first dance, the toast where I lost the upper hand, the flower and garter belt tosses, the cake cutting, and my tribute to all my guests. I was so very pleased that so many of you attended. I hope you know how much it meant to the both of us, for you to take the time to come down and partake in our happiest of days. I appreciate all the wonderful gifts you all gave to us and all the continued gifts of friendship in the future. Thank you all so much.
