Ft. Desoto

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. The temperature started off in the 50s and ended up in the low 60s. We had nice blue skies with a few clouds and a little breeze out of the SE. Bladers/Bicyclers Lorraine & William L, Rick P & Ginnie S, Bill S, Carol J, Diana S, Andrew F & Claudia R, Dan C, Pam R, Jim & Wilma F, Rob H, Bruce M, John L, Linda C and Steve G came. Welcome all. We decided to do the regular Ft Desoto route. Everyone did the 12 mile round trip. A few did about an extra half mile on East Beach. We had 17 bicyclers and 1 blader. A lot of our bladers are having fun this week end at the Great EsSkate. Bladers/bicyclers Chuck & Debbie H, Glenn & Sandra R, Lorianne L, Michael E and Phil V renewed their Sponsorship since last Sunday. We Brunched at The Island Grille instead of Munchs or Skyway Jacks. We got right in at The Island Grille and seated at two tables. Service was a little slow starting but picked up, the coffee flowed freely and the service got much better. We got in, ate and out in less than an hour. Both tables rated the food a 9.9.
