Tierra Verde

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. We had temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s, cloudy skies at the start with blue skies at the end and just a slight breeze. Bladers/Bicyclers Rob H, Roy H, Andrew F & Claudia R, Dorey Anne, Gail & Jay B, Kevin & Monica K, Dan & Linda C, Dee T, Jim F, Wendy F, Bill & Diana S, Pam & Joel R, Grimm B, Bruce M, Rob H, Steve G, Jeff B, Carol J, Wilma F and John L. Welcome all. Best turn out of the year so far. We had bladed/bicycled Ft. Desoto about a month ago so we decided to do Tierra Verde today. First we did Paradise Island off of 13th St. John L then led us North to 1st Street where we headed West on the main Tierra Verde boulevard. We did a lot of turning and not many straight runs so after we had done 9.5 miles we decided that was enough. We had 3 bladers and 24 bicyclers. We Brunched at the Island Grille as planned. We got right in and seated at a big table in their back dining room. We had an excellent server and things went smoothly. The coffee flowed freely and we got in and out within an hour. The food was excellent as usual and we had ratings from 9.5+ to 10. We'll give the Island Grille a 9.75.
