Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. We had a pretty
stiff breeze from the NE, clear blue skies and temperatures in the low 60s.
Bladers/Bicyclers (top row left) Bruce M, Roy H, Glennis
W, Steve G, Bill S, (bottom row left) Dee T, Jeff B, Carol J and Diana S came.
Welcome all. Some wanted to do the Beaches but most wanted to do the
Trail. We headed East on Old Oakhurst Road to the Trail and headed North to
Ulmerton Road where we turned around. Most of the group
did the 11.3 mile round trip. We had 3 bladers and 6 bicyclers.
Since this Sunday was St. Pete Grand Prix day, several of
us didn't go to brunch but headed to the Grand Prix. A group of 5 tried
to get into Mama's Kitchen but Mama's Kitchen had a 45 minute wait. The group
ended up at Doe Does with just a 15 minute wait. The
service was good, the coffee flowed freely and the food was very good. Glennis
rated her Brunch a 9.8. |
