Boca Ciega
Millennium Park
Another
Beautiful Day in Paradise. We had temperatures in the 80s, cloudy skies
and a light SW breeze. Bladers/Bicyclers (from the left)
Bruce M, Steve G, Michael E, Dee T, Jeff B, Rob H, Ginnie S and Rick P. Welcome
all. Looks like the rain scared off some of the regulars. However we had
no sign of impending rain. We talked about doing the Beaches or the Pinellas
Trail. We decided on the Pinellas Trail. We did Boca Ciega Mellinnium Park first
and then headed up to the Pinellas Trail and went North to Ulmerton Rd and back
for a round trip of 11 miles. We had 6 bicyclers and 2
bladers.
We had talked about trying out the Portobello Diner and so
we did. As we headed to Portobello's we did get a few drops of rain on
our windshields. Michael E had gone ahead and reserved us two tables but he
wouldn't have had too as they had several more open tables. However they only
had 9 four seated tables inside and a couple outside. Services was good and the
coffee flowed freely. However my coffee didn't taste that good.
We had ratings from 8.8 to 9.8. We'll give the Portobello
Diner a rating of 9.3.
