Beautiful Sunday in Paradise, Bladers/Bicyclers (top left) Glennis W,
Ginnie S & Rick P, Janice H, Robert L, Roy H, Bill H, Lech 0, (bottom row left)
Bruce M, John R, Dee T, Jeff B, Cathy H and Steve G came. Welcome all. The
temperature was in the 70s, the skies clear and we had a little southern breeze.
We discussed doing the neighborhoods again or heading South. Heading South on
the Pinellas Trail won. The plan was to go South to Seminole Park and turn
around. Several of the group did that and some turned around at the bridge over
Park Blvd. We had 4 Bladers and 10 Bicyclers. Part of the group did 9.5 miles
and part did 10 miles round trip. Welcome new people Lech O, Robert L and John
Rose. Was also good to see Bill & Cathy H and Janice H again.
As it was Mother's Day, we were concerned that
Savory's restaurant would be too crowded and Savory doesn't take reservations.
After some discussion we decided to Brunch at Widow Brown's. We got to Widow
Brown's about 15 minutes before our reservation time and we had to wait those 15
minutes. We then all got seated at a long table. It took them a while to take
our orders and start the coffee flowing. However the food was very good and we
got out in about an hour. We had ratings from 9.5 to 9.8. We'll give Widow
Browns a 9.7.
