Long Center
 

Another Beautiful Sunday in Paradise. It was a lovely day but it is getting pretty warm. We haven't done the Ream Wilson Clearwater Trail from the Long Center since 2018 and were not quite sure on what to expect. There is also a new trail called the Duke Energy Trail that crosses the The Ream Wilson Trail just a short distance (0.6 miles) from the Long Center. Todays plan was to take the Ream Wilson Trail from the Long Center to Bayshore Blvd and back. However today when we got to the Crossing of the Duke Energy Trail, we decided to take the Duke Energy Trail to the North and see where it went. Wellllllll it went North almost to Main St (Hwy 580). A mile or so before Hwy 580 the Trail crossed over Hwy 19 and was then then under construction and we had to turn back. At least now we know what that bridge over Hwy 19 was for. We then returned back South to the Ream Wilson Trail and took it to McMullen Booth road and then back to the Long Center. We did 11.2 miles and had 10 Bicyclers.

We Brunched at the Sunset Grill as planned. We got right in and seated in just a few minutes. The place was backed and we wondered how long Brunch was going to take. Welllll the service was pretty good, the coffee flowed freely and the food very good. We got in and out in just about an hour. Great!!
