Long Center,
Ream Wilson,
Duke Energy Trail
Another Beautiful Sunday in Paradise. And it was a nice sunny day with a
slight N-NE 4-8 mph breeze. From the Long Center you are connected to the Ream
Wilson Clearwater Trail. However just about a half mile East on the Ream Wilson
Trail it crosses over the North South Duke Energy Trail which has been under
construction for about 10 years or so. We just had to see how far the North end
of the Duke Energy Trail had extended to. We headed North on the Duke Energy
Trail and found it was completed to Enterprise Rd. The Duke Energy Trail looked
good going further North but was blocked off on the North side of Enterprise Rd.
We decided to behave ourselves and return to the Ream Wilson Clearwater Trail.
We headed East the Ream Wilson Clearwater Trail and turned around at the top of
the bridge going over Mc Mullen Booth Rd. Our nice little group of 6 bicyclers
did a round trip of 11.3 miles.
We Brunched at the Sunset Grill as usual. We got right in and the 4 of us left
all seated at the same table. The service was a little slow, but the coffee
flowed freely and the food was very very good.
